Giovanni’s Restaurant Group is Wales’ longest running independent Italian establishment. Their first restaurant was set up in 1983 and this month Giovanni’s is taking their usual anniversary celebrations to a whole new level with a 35-year Celebration Extravaganza – and everyone is welcome.
The event will be showcasing all the achievements of Giovanni Malacrino and his business. Giovanni’s Restaurant Group has always been a long-running success story and is an inspiration for many independent businesses. Winning the Best Multiple Operator award at the 2017 Welsh Italian Awards, and was named as one of the most influential small companies in the UK last year. As well as winning awards, Giovanni’s restaurant on The Hayes featured as a filming location for the BBC’s hit drama, Sherlock; and has been the official restaurant of feeding the Street Pastors for several years.
Giovanni said the event, which takes place at 6:00 pm on 28th October at the Marriot Hotel, is to “thank all the people who have helped us along the way, including former staff members, old and new customers, and the council.”
The party will feature delicious food, a champagne reception, entertainment, celebrity guests and an exclusive look at Giovanni’s 35-year celebration movie. As well as looking back on achievements, Giovanni has also hinted that the event will be looking to the future, with “a whole load of exciting announcements at the event.”
Tickets are £50, or £450 for a table of ten, and include a champagne cocktail on arrival, a 3-course Italian style meal, and free entry & espresso martini on arrival at 10 Mill Lane.
