Style of the City reviews The Park Plaza’s beautiful facility, The Laguna Health & Spa, which is one of the top spa’s in the heart of Cardiff City Centre.
Whether you have just 15 minutes, a couple of hours or the whole day, the Laguna Health & Spa provides the perfect environment for you to truly unwind, relax and de-stress. You are able to choose from an extensive selection of treatment experiences. All treatments incorporate the tranquil relaxation lounge and full use of the spa facilities, which include a spa bath, steam room, gymnasium and an indoor swimming pool, with windows facing a garden view.
I opted for the Sunrise Spa treatment, day spa experience. I received the Pevonia Luxury Signature Facial, which lasted approximately 50 tranquil minutes and was divine! However, there are other option to choose from, such as the Pevonia Signature Full Body Massage, the Laguna Luxury Manicure or Pedicure.
After the treatment, I continued to relax in the steam room and cooled off with a couple of laps in the 20m swimming pool. The entire experience provides an oasis of calm and left me feeling refreshed and relaxed. The spa also provides pool loungers for guests to use to relax before and after their swim.
These treatments include use of white robes, towels, slippers and a Continental Breakfast served in the Spa Dining Room at 8:30am. The Continental Breakfast included glorious fresh pastries, cereals, fruit and Welsh yoghurt, so of course, I definitely had to try them all!
The relaxed morning left me refreshed and ready to enter back to the reality of the busy hustle and bustle of the city.
The Sunrise Spa is available Sunday to Friday from 8.00am to 12.00pm at £45 per person.
