One of the pulls of London is the beautiful boutiques filled with contemporary and diverse brands and service that leaves you feeling pampered and appreciated.
But a trip over the bridge is no longer a necessary part of this experience, Cardiff is home to its very own bijou boutique – Kiti Cymru.

Located in the heart of Pontcanna Kiti Cymru was opened three years ago by Gwenno Williams. Before opening Kiti, she worked in hair and makeup for drama and film but had always held a lifelong ambition to open her own boutique. Finally, in 2015 the opportunity to do so came along and Gwenno took the plunge – naming the boutique after her beloved Nain (Grandmother) Kiti Cymru was born.

The inspiration behind the boutique came from the time Gwenno spent in London, where her now husband lived. During this time, she developed a love for shopping in the exclusive boutiques of Notting Hill and Primrose Park. Shopping in these boutiques introduced Gwenno to a whole new world of fashionable brands that weren’t available in Cardiff.
Kiti looked to change this and bring incredible UK and European brands to Cardiff to give fashionable Welsh women the same experience Gwenno had in London.

Unlike some boutiques, Kiti is very particular in the brands they stock. At Kiti, you’ll only find brands that are current and at the top of their game. Stocking brands from all over Europe Kiti has something for everyone.

Designers coming out of Denmark are a particular favourite of Gwenno, and Kiti stocks several Danish brands – Stine Goya deliver colourful architectural pieces, while Baum and Pferdgarten contrast that with their floaty feminine designs necessary for any work wardrobe.

One of the latest brands to become available at Kiti is Air & Grace, a British brand who design cool and funky trainers which can be styled time and time again, we’re thinking with boyfriend jeans for your off-duty style, or dressed up with a pleated skirt and oversized knit.

Dutch brand Fabienne Chapot has also recently been brought to the Cardiff boutique. Chapot was brought to the fashion world’s attention when blogger Erica Davis wore their Lobster print, and it is cementing itself as an it brand. A need to know designer for anyone who’s a fan of amazing prints and fabulous colours.

Kiti Cymru is a must visit for anyone looking for a curated collection of stylish and exclusive brands coupled with a personable service that helps you feel your best.

Kiti Cymru is located on Pontcanna Mews in Pontcanna, Cardiff and is open 10am – 5pm Monday to Saturday.
