Penarth based luxury hotel and restaurant, Holm House, is embracing the Christmas spirit ‘2020’ style with its unique festive calendar this year.
2020 has been full of compromise, but you don’t need to compromise on festive luxury this Christmas, thanks to Holm House. Reunite with your nearest and dearest in the picture-perfect setting of one of South Wales’ most beloved boutique hotels as they’ve taken care of everything to ensure a safe but magical experience.

Enjoy the finest traditional afternoon tea in the beautiful setting of Holm House’s restaurant which boasts picturesque views of Penarth Pier, fabulously festive Christmas decorations and a cosy log fire. Alternatively, if you would prefer to enjoy handcrafted finger sandwiches and freshly baked treats in the comfort of your own home with a glass of fizz in hand, you can now click and collect!

Wine and Dine
The current Welsh government restrictions allow for hotel residents to enjoy an alcoholic beverage in their hotel rooms and dinner in the restaurant until 10pm.
Holm House is literally taking the ‘romantic night in’ concept to the next level. You can enjoy a private dining experience in your very own suite, including wine pairing with each course. You can get merry, indulge with delicious food, enjoy fabulous drinks and not even have to change out of your fluffy hotel robe!
This unique experience is only £200 per couple, including a 1-night stay in a suite on Friday’s and Saturday’s throughout December, 3-course dinner, 3 glasses of wine to match each course and a full Welsh breakfast. On Sunday’s, the package includes a 3 course Sunday lunch at 2pm (select from alcohol-free in the restaurant or private wine and dine) followed by a cosy night in and continental breakfast the next morning for just £180.

Eat at Holm
Holm House’s award-winning restaurant will remain open from Friday – Sunday throughout December, including Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Boxing Day. The restaurant will close at 6pm to non-residents.
Festive lunch, afternoon tea and Sunday lunch menus are offered and start from just £19.50pp.
For lunch, you can reserve a table at 12pm or 2pm, for afternoon tea at 3pm or 4pm is offered.
There’s literally no excuse to not bring together 3 of your favourites or your household, you don’t even have to worry about the hangover the next day. (However, see our shop below, we’ve got you covered there too)

While alcohol may not be on the agenda you can enjoy a delicious mocktail inspired by ‘2020’, we highly recommend the ‘Drakeford’ for those who appreciate a hint of melon…
