It’s always tricky when using a salon for the first time, you hope as I did that they will understand just what you need and in my case, with afro hair it can be pot luck! Josh Lee though surpassed expectation, with beautiful exterior, fresh and current you could almost feel the creativity.
I was greeted by the friendly team members and the founder Joshua Partridge. What stood out most was the real sense of familiarity, you almost feel part of something new and greeted with the highest level of customer service.
Upon arrival, I was offered a list of beverages and chose a lovely coffee, whilst Josh the owner talked me through the process of my colour and classic blow-dry appointment. The salon offers one of the best value for money bouncy ’blows’, starting from just £20. Going through each colour step and recommended option was really helpful and I felt at ease with the advice and options that Josh advised me on.
Josh Lee hair is renowned for amazing colouring, especially in balayage and on blondes. The salon’s founder boasts over a decade of experience in the hairdressing industry and was runner up Hairdresser of the year at the Welsh Hairdressing Awards by NHF, so I was confident my hair was in safe hands! Though opting for a root touch up and conditioning treatment, my hair immediately felt drenched with moisture and Josh’s talent at blow dry styling really shone through. I always say, if you can blow dry my type of hair you definitely know what you’re doing.
The outcome was a gorgeous bouncy blow dry to help me feel relaxed. Josh Lee is something of a tucked away gem that oozes not only style but the highest level of hairdressing which was evident in the awards already received. I think most of all it’s a salon where quality and value for money go hand in hand. In closing I would highly recommend and can’t wait to go back. Thanks team Josh Lee x
