I say I mainly look for style.
How do you dispose of your old clothing? Why?
I sell it on Depop a lot or if I can’t, I’ll give it to charity.

Yes, unfortunately, I shop a lot, but I do try not to.

I look for quality and get things that won’t go out of fashion or season.

I either give them away or sell them on.

I’d say I’m much more conscious of it now, say than I was four years ago, and I try to buy forever pieces!

Yeah probably, I do buy from fast fashion brands!

Both, but because I’m short it’s easier for me to come into the store and try things on and feel the fabric, so mainly on the high street.

My top and shoes are from Zara, my coat and trousers are ASOS!

Quality in relation to price, I would rather invest in a few staples which will last a long time!

I sell it on Depop, I never chuck anything out, so if I don’t sell, I will give it to charity! Sometimes I even swap with friends!

I find myself coming into town after uni and buying things but most of my outfit is actually from Depop and not the high street shops directly! I say I do but I am making a conscious effort to stop.

I really like Lucy Hale because of her gothic kind of style! I love the dark lipstick and dark clothes! She dresses similar to her character in Pretty Little Liars and its different, she really pulls it off!

Online, I’m always so busy and never in town, it’s a lot cheaper online with student discount!

My trainers are from Zara, jeans are ASOS, my cardigan is from Nasty Gal, top is Boohoo and my bag is from a boutique in France!

Style because everyone has their own and I love finding things to wear!

I give them to charity, as long as they aren’t ruined!

No, I don’t feel like I do, I will pay more now for clothes to make them last I used to. Basic things I rebuy each year but I reuse most things like coats!

My biggest fashion icons are Conna Walker, who is the CEO of House of CB and the instagrammer Lorna Luxe! I’m inspired everyday by InTheFrow Victoria, Naomi Campbell and Anna Wintour, as I inspire to be like them one day in the fashion world.
Do you shop online or high street?
I shop mostly online because it’s efficient and I feel there are always better deals and more stock online than in store. The only shop that I mainly go into the city for is Primark because they don’t offer an online website.
What brands are you wearing today?
Today I am wearing a blazer from In the Style, a vest from Topshop with trousers and shoes from pretty Little Thing!
What do you look for when shopping? Price, style or quality?
When shopping, I look for price and style first. I try and find the cheapest price I can get for a certain top. I like to buy trend items as soon as they start to populate in the shop windows.
How do you dispose of your old clothing? Why?
When I no longer want some of my clothes I either try and sell it on Depop or I give it to my local charity shop.
Do you consider yourself a contributor to fast fashion? If so why?
I do consider that I contribute to the fast fashion issues as I regularly shop in Primark and on Pretty Little Thing for new trends instead of investing in quality pieces. I want to change my shopping habits and cut down on fast fashion!

I sell them on Depop because it allows me to have more money to buy clothes but if they’re too old I will donate them to charity or throw them out.

Yes, I definitely contribute to fast fashion because I buy from cheap sites and buy often. I usually tend to buy new things every time I go out or have an event and wear it once or twice!

I give them away to charity because not everyone has money to spend on clothes that are in fashion right now.

I look mainly at cost before quality as I am currently on a smaller budget. However, I do tend to spend more if I believe the clothing item is worth the price. I also look into the style and whether I am able to pair this particular piece of clothing to clothes I already have in my wardrobe!
How do you dispose of your old clothing? Why?
I usually give old clothing to family members or charity shops. By doing this I like to believe I am contributing less clothing waste and being environmentally friendly which is a high issue in today’s society.

I don’t believe I contribute greatly to fast fashion as I do tend to shop in charity shops rather than online. I don’t tend to purchase clothes very often as I’m able to recycle clothes from family members such as my older sisters!
