On Sunday evening, the 2020 Golden Globes started off the first award ceremony of the new year. The ceremony was held at the Beverley Hilton in LA and was a star-studded event attended by the Hollywood elites.

Style of the City lists its top 10 favourite looks from the 2020 Golden Globes.

Beyoncé brought the drama by wearing a plunging black gown with metallic gold sleeves. To complement the dress, she kept her hair simple and sleek, and accessorized with diamond drop earrings.

In a 3-D printed couture creation from Iris van Herpen, the black and white pleated mini-dress with a cape-like train was unlike anything else on the carpet.

Washington strut the red carpet in a risqué yet super-chic Altuzarra blazer, that featured a sparkly body chain underneath, with a high-slit skirt.

The icon arrived in a dazzling crimson gown, which had a dramatic neckline, billowing skirt and she also accessorised with an astonishing  $4 million worth of Harry Winston diamonds!

The fabulous and flamboyant Billie Poter wore a crisp white suit by Alex Vinash, featuring a dramatic train that was covered in white feathers. The actor added sparkly Jimmy Choo boots and jewels by Tiffany & Co.
