Style of the City reviews the intimate and charming Bill’s Restaurant, in Cardiff Central. The building, of Bill’s Restaurant, was originally built in the late 1800s; however, the newly refurbished restaurant is vibrant and full of charm. It is the ideal location for a cosy dinner, a celebration or to catch up with friends.

Upon arrival, we were greeted by helpful and friendly staff who showed us to our table. We were sat within a cosy little booth; however, there is also an option to sit in the outdoor terrace, which is the perfect place for every meal and everything in between.

For a light bite we shared three delicious dishes from the starters menu, which were Devilled Chicken Skewers, Prawn Cocktail and Chicken and Sesame Dumplings.

Devilled Chicken Skewers – with spicy barbeque glaze, spring onion, lime & tzatziki £6.75
Prawn Cocktail – King prawns, smashed avocado, cherry tomatoes, cucumber, spring onions, shredded baby gem & Marie Rose sauce £7.50
Chicken and Sesame Dumplings – with Bill’s spicy chutney £6.25

As filling as they were, we had to finish with some of Bill’s fantastic puddings! We indulged in the Mango and Passion Fruit Eaton Mess and Melting Banoffee Sundae, which truly hit the spot.

Melting Banoffee Sundae – with bananas, salted caramel ice cream, biscuit chunks, whipped cream & a chocolate sphere drizzled with warm salted caramel sauce £6.95
