St Brides Spa Hotel in Saundersfoot is holding a triple celebration after receiving three prestigious awards in recent months.

St Brides has been named the Best Hotel in Pembrokeshire at the Pembrokeshire Tourism Awards 2018.  The award was presented to staff at the Hotel on Saturday 22nd April 2018 at a glittering awards ceremony held at The Pavilion, Withybush Showground.

The Pembrokeshire Tourism Awards celebrate excellence in the tourism sector and the gala ceremony, hosted by renowned travel writer Zoe Dawes, was attended by over 240 guests connected to the tourism industry in Pembrokeshire.

Just weeks before, the hotel had been named the Best Hotel in Wales at the Visit Wales 2018 National Tourism Awards. The NTA’s celebrate the very best of Wales’s tourism industry and included 12 awards overall.  The winners were chosen from 44 regional winners, which were selected from more than 400 nominations, making it an incredible achievement.

And things are only looking up for the luxury spa hotel retreat. Their third award was to receive a ‘5 bubble’ rating by the Good Spa Guide; a company which uses a bubble system to indicate their verdict on each spa it visits.  They assess hundreds of spas each year on 80 different aspects from design and maintenance to customer service and the standard of facilities and treatments.

Following their visit to St Brides Spa Hotel they awarded their top bubble rating of ‘5 Bubbles,’ and commented, ‘The jewel in the St Brides crown is the infinity hydro-pool. The warm outdoor salt pool overlooks the stunning coast; it almost feels like there’s nothing separating you from the ocean below. Station yourself by an air jet and stare up at the sky while the water gently massages your back….. The setting is absolutely beautiful, and the hotel, spa and restaurant make the most of their surroundings. The well-managed thermal facilities are a treat and the outdoor infinity pool is seriously special. St Brides has personality; you couldn’t be anywhere else…’

Andrew Evans commented ‘We are again delighted to thank our team for maintaining our successful growth with national recognition for standards and service.  Above all the recognition of the value added by our business to the local community.’

St Brides Spa Hotel is a luxury destination spa retreat with 34 individually styled bedrooms, most with breath-taking views overlooking Saundersfoot and Carmarthen Bay.  It is their beautiful location which has also gained them the ‘A Room with a View’ award in the Best Hotel View category at the Best Loved Hotel Awards.

With such a fabulous, glittering reputation and an impressive showcase of awards, this hotel certainly makes an impression. And being only 2 to 3 hours from Cardiff makes it an even more perfect place to enjoy, relax and venture to when you next need a bit of a break from reality. Go on, you deserve it!
