Style of the City reviews the most splash-tastic destination for a hot summers day, in Cardiff Bay. The sun was blaring and the water cool, the perfect temperature to enjoy the most talked-about attraction that is accessible to all this summer, seven days a week, until September 9th, 2019.

The Aqua Park, located at Cardiff Bay Barrage, is the perfect day out for families looking for a summer adventure, students celebrating the end of University, businesses looking for team building days and so much more!

We arrived ready to face the Aqua Park course, anticipating what challenges the inflatable park had to offer. Upon arrival, changing rooms and lockers were provided on site; however, you are required to pay £2for a lock (which you get to keep), to ensure the lockers can’t be opened. We were provided with a wetsuit and life jacket, but a word of advice – bring water shoes with you! Although, you are able to do the course barefoot, just prepare to constantly slip into the water and muddy feet!

Aqua Park Cardiff

The floating inflatable Aqua Park had a variety of challenges for adrenaline junkies to enjoy! Including climbing walls, trampolines, balance bars, slides, blast bags and monkey bars, which made it the ultimate day out. We were able to complete the course twice within the time limit, as most of the time is spent swimming and pulling yourself back up onto the inflatable course. But be sure not to drink the water!

The activity costs £20 per person, which includes a wetsuit. It’s the perfect way to cool off from this Summer’s heat!

It is imperative for all participants to get to the site 45 to 30 minutes before the selected time, as there is a slight walk from the car park.
