Summer may nearly be over, but a cosy cabin with a wood burner is definitely the perfect destination for a last minute getaway!
Tucked away in the most beautiful part of Wales, Wye Glamping is a true retreat. Here you’ll enjoy stunning Mountain Views an idyllic babbling brook and endless birdsong. A small family run site with only 5 pitches including a locally built yurt, a beautifully handcrafted cabin and 3 spacious bell tents which are so well equipped you need only bring your clothes and food.
The yurt inspired cabin, has been built specifically for us by local a craftsman using reclaimed and locally sourced materials where possible. As such it is completely unique and full of character. This luxurious accommodation boasts double glazed windows, polished floorboards and a quality wood burner.
Inside you’ll find a double bed and a day bed which can turn into two singles. There is also room for an additional Childs bed or cot. 100% cotton bedlinen and towels on the double bed (single linen is available at an extra cost), a basket of logs, Tea and coffee provisions and many other little extras.
Completely off grid, which means there is no mains electricity on site, providing the perfect opportunity to switch off from the tech and tune into mother nature instead. However, there are solar panels for lighting and phone charging. It doesn’t mean lack of luxury though, piping hot showers can be found in the shared shower block a short walk from the Glamping pitches. Gas fridges will keep your food chilled. And the 4G signal is excellent for most networks.
When it comes to facilities, there’s no compromise either. A private, fully equipped kitchen complete with double hob, grill and fridge, is provided as is a fire pit which doubles as a BBQ. Whichever way you choose to cook, eating alfresco under the stars is a real treat!
